Crown/Eagle Overprinted 'Togo'

Issued 1898. Postcard without letters next to the print date and with watermark and a green 5Pf pre-printed crown / eagle stamp. The pre-printed stamp is inscribed 'REICHSPOST' and has a black 'Togo' overprint running from the bottom left-hand of the stamp to the upper right-hand.

Issued 1899/1900. The Reply Card below is the first type (the 'K' of the 'Karte' in the inscription 'Die angebogene Karte ist fur die Antwort bestimmt' is closed, the other type has an open 'k'). This postcard also has a date code 297f.

P12 is the second Reply Card in the Imperial Yacht series and was printed in 1900 and has no control data or print date. There are a large number of fake postcards for the Imperial Yacht series of postcards, below is the genuine version. There are two sides to the card, the front is shown on the left and the reverse (reply) is shown on the right,

Printed 1903. This postcard is the same as P11 but now with the "K" of "Karte" open and the card is more of a cream-color.

P17 was printed in 1912 and has no control data or print date, and only the word 'Postkarte' which is printed to the right of the dividing line. This postcard also has a Diamond watermark.
